SMEC has been engaged by Green Light Contractors (GLC), the Australian EPC arm of  Elecnor, to deliver technical support, concept and detailed engineering design works on Stage 1 of the New England Solar Farm in New South Wales.

SMEC’s Gold Coast team is thrilled to have received an Excellence Award at the Queensland Branch Excellence in Concrete Awards 2021 for the West Chevron Island Bridge Remedial Works that our team recently completed for the City of Gold Coast.

SMEC has been engaged by Rwanda Agriculture and Animal Resources Board to supervise construction of the Gabiro Agri-Business Hub project; a joint venture between the Government of Rwanda and the international irrigation equipment manufacturing company, Netafim.

SMEC has successfully delivered a project for the Government of Tanzania, through the Tanzania Electric Supply Company Ltd (TANESCO), to carry out Feasibility Studies and Distribution Master Plan Studies for four major cities/load centres in Tanzania.
