SMEC Zambia
SMEC’s first project in Zambia was a study on the structure, organisation and management of technical and vocational education in Zambia. The objective of this project was to strengthen educational institutions, thereby improving the quality of education provided.
Since then, SMEC has been engaged on a number of projects throughout Zambia, these include: design and construction supervision for Zambia’s first Cancer Diseases Hospital; the upgrade of the 15,500 capacity Arthur Davies Stadium; feasibility studies to Zambia’s Rural Electrification Authority; and a review of management systems of the Department of Technical Education and Vocational Training.
