SMEC is pleased to announce its engagement with the Western Parkland City Authority (WPCA) for the design and delivery of key infrastructure for Bradfield City Centre, Australia’s newest city.

Bradfield City Centre spans 114ha near the future Western Sydney International airport. It will be a beautiful and sustainable city that is green, advanced, and connected to world class transport.

Bradfield City Centre is one of the biggest urban developments ever undertaken in Australia and the first major Australian city to be built in over 100 years. It will support an advanced manufacturing, research and innovation ecosystem which will create good quality and better paid jobs closer to home for all Western Sydney residents.

“We are pleased to be working with WPCA for this important project and are eager to leverage emerging technologies that will contribute to the development of a smart city,”  Arun Thiagarajah, Manager – Urban Communities, Paramatta said. “We are excited to be closely involved in laying the foundations of this game-changing city”.
