The landside works are integral in connecting the new airport to other transport infrastructure services including the new M12 Motorway and Sydney Metro – Western Sydney Airport rail link which will provide streamlined and efficient access to the new airport and its on-airport Business Precinct. Scope for the landside package includes the delivery of roads, car parks (including electric vehicle charging stations), bridges and ground transport facilities, operational buildings, landscaping and services.

The landside civil and building works package was the final major contract to be awarded for construction of Western Sydney International which is on track to open to international, domestic and air cargo services in late 2026.
Western Sydney International is a vital addition to Australia’s aviation capacity catering for the future growth of both passengers and air cargo. The project will form a transport and business hub which will open economic opportunities, provide connection through the most advanced transport networks and build further growth capacity for the region.
