SMEC Philippines celebrated a momentous occasion recently as it unveiled its new office space in Manila located on the 12th floor of Greenfield Tower, Mayflower Street, Mandaluyong City in the National Capital Region. The event was an office-warming celebration to welcome the SMEC team to their new and modern workspace.

The event brought together SMEC employees and created a sense of excitement and camaraderie in the new office environment. The move also signified a major step forward for SMEC Philippines, as it allowed the team to share office space and consolidate its operations by joining the Surbana Jurong (SJ) Global Shared Services and SJ Global Design Centre under one roof. This integration is expected to foster greater collaboration and efficiency among teams, ultimately benefiting their clients and projects.

 

Distinguished guests graced the occasion, including notable client representatives from the Greater Capital Railway Consortium, Pasay Harbor City Corporation and MGreen who commended SMEC’s commitment to growth and development in the Philippines.

 

The highlights of the event included a traditional office blessing, symbolizing good fortune and prosperity for the new workspace. A ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the official opening of the office. Senior management delivered inspiring speeches, expressing their gratitude to the team and outlining their vision for the future. The celebration concluded with a sumptuous lunch, fostering an atmosphere of camaraderie and bonding among team members.
