The Consult Australia Awards celebrate outstanding contributions across the consulting sector, highlighting innovation, leadership, collaboration, and technical expertise. Acknowledging both emerging talents and experienced professionals who are making a real impact in our industry.

 

SMEC received Highly Commended recognition in the following categories:

 

Collaboration for Project Excellence working with Government

 

Collaboration in TIC-CO Construction: Mt Lindesay Highway – Stoney Camp Rd to Chambers Flat Rd duplication project (HullSEE Joint Venture)

 

The Mount Lindesay Highway is a vital north-south corridor in SouthEast Queensland, connecting Brisbane to the NSW border and serving local commuters, tourists, and freight traffic. The collaboration undertaken between SMEC as Contract Administrator, SEE Civil and JF Hull Holdings joint venture and the Department of Transport and Main Roads, transcended mere construction; symbolising success achieve together.

 

Superior Sustainability

Porronggitj Karrong project

SMEC walked alongside Wadawurrung and Barwon Water to transform the 66 hectares of land that is the Porronggitj Karrong project site into a living Cultural landscape precinct, to create a balanced ecological system incorporating Wadawurrung values for the whole community to connect, listen and learn from Country.
