Andres Mansilla has been awarded the Young Water Professional of the Year at the 2024 Western Australian Water Awards, a testament to his leadership and passion for sustainable water management. As an inspiring young leader in the sector, he leverages his position to enhance knowledge sharing, industry collaboration, and networking across different committees and events. Andres has accumulated a wealth of local and international experience, championing innovation in water conservation to drive positive change.
Additionally, our Victorian water and environment team were recognised with the Organisational Excellence Award at the 2024 VIC Water Awards. The award recognises our outstanding contribution to the Porronggitj Karrong, Place of the Brolga project, a cultural and ecological revitalisation initiative in partnership with Wadawurrung Traditional Owners and Barwon Water. The project aims to transform the 66 hectares of land into a new living Cultural landscape and community precinct to create a balanced ecological system incorporating Wadawurrung values for the whole community to connect, listen and learn from the Country.
